KRAS gene is a common oncogenic gene in human tumors. About 35-40% of k-ras mutations in colorectal cancer, mainly occurs at 12,13 codon. KRAS non-mutant patients benefit from monoclonal antibodies (Cetuximab) and panizumab (panitumumab) targeting EGFR signaling pathways.
