Extremely manoeuvrable, aluminium toilet-shower chair AKVA is designed for people weighing up to 120 kg with temporary or long-term mobility problems. This universal wheelchair, as needed, can be used for indoor transportation, and as a toilet or shower chair. Only the attendant can drive the wheelchair using a pushing handle mounted above the backrest. All materials of the wheelchair are resistant to corrosion, which makes it perfectly suitable for use in shower rooms. Wheelchair seat width – 43 cm, depth – 42 cm. It has comfortable, foldable armrests. We recommend lifting them when getting in or out of the wheelchair (from the side). When riding, the armrests must be lowered. The footrests of the wheelchair can be lifted up and tucked under the seat. Raised footrests do not lock, so keep them from falling during transportation. The size of the wheelchair wheels is 12.5 cm, they are equipped with brakes. They must be enabled when getting in or out of the wheelchair. The wheelchair also has a coverable bedpan, installed on special brackets from the back of the wheelchair. Each toilet-shower chair AKVA is checked in the factory, so only a quality product reaches the user. It is recommended to store the wheelchair in a dry place protected from direct sunlight, to wet clean it periodically without using aggressive cleaners, or to cover it.
