Extremely manoeuvrable, aluminium toilet-shower wheelchair AKVA GO is designed for people weighing up to 120 kg with temporary or long-term mobility problems. This universal wheelchair, as needed, can be used for indoor transportation, and as a toilet or shower chair. The user can move independently by rotating the metal driving arcs located by the rear wheels or the wheelchair can be driven by an attendant using pushing handles mounted above the backrest. All materials of the wheelchair are resistant to corrosion, which makes it perfectly suitable for use in shower rooms. Wheelchair seat width – 43 cm, depth – 42 cm. It has comfortable, foldable armrests and footrest that can be lifted up. We recommend lifting the support when getting in or out of the wheelchair from the side. When riding, the armrests must be lowered. The footrests are folded and tucked under the seat. To do this, lift them up. Raised footrests do not lock, so keep them from falling during transportation. The size of the front wheels of the wheelchair – 12.5 cm, the rear – 61 cm. Parking brakes installed on both sides of the wheelchair above the rear wheels of quick fixation are enabled or disabled with a special knob. The parking brake must be used when getting into or out of the wheelchair, but it must not be used to reduce speed. The wheelchair also has a coverable bedpan, installed on special brackets from the back of the wheelchair.
