C830H Migration & Non-volatile-matter Content Tester is a highly integrated automatic instrument for determination of migration and non-volatile contents of packaging materials used in food and pharmaceuticals. It integrates evaporation, drying and weighing in an automated workflow and supports fast evaporation modes and reagent recycling to improve throughput and safety.

Test Principle

• Total Migration
  The specimen is immersed in a food-simulating solution; after evaporation to dryness the total migration of non-volatile contents is measured by weighing the residue.
• Non-volatile-matter Content
  The specimen is immersed in a standard reagent; after evaporating the reagent and a blank to dryness, the non-volatile-matter content is obtained by comparison with the blank.
