Description

Overview
Handheld headspace gas analyzer designed for accurate and fast measurement of oxygen and (optionally) carbon dioxide in sealed packages, bottles and cans. Portable design for use on production lines, in warehouses or in laboratories as a production guidance tool.

Product features
  • Handheld, one-hand operation suitable for production-line testing
  • Auto shutdown for energy saving
  • One-button calibration for simple and efficient operation
  • High-quality components from well-known manufacturers to ensure stable performance
  • Protective cover for the sampling probe to ensure operator safety
  • Embedded gas sensors for accurate analysis in flexible and rigid packages
  • Embedded pressure sensor for accurate determination of package vacuum level
  • Optional CO2 sensor: NDIR technology with patented solid-state LED, detector and gold-plated optical components
  • Industrial-grade touchscreen with intuitive interface, one-button operation, remote upgrade and maintenance
  • Operating system options: Chinese and English
  • Automatic data storage and power-failure memory; up to 1200 test results stored
  • Optional wireless micro-printer for on-site printouts
  • Optional USB ports and professional PC software for data transfer and management

Test principle
The gas inside the test package is drawn to the sensors by an internal air pump. Oxygen (and optional CO2) concentrations are determined by converting electrical signals from the gas sensors; when preset conditions are met the test completes and the system records concentrations.

Applications
  • Basic applications
    • Packaging bags: headspace O2 and CO2 (optional) testing in non-vacuum sealed bags (coffee, cheese, milk tea, milk powder, bread, bean powder, instant food, pharmaceuticals, etc.)
    • Packaging containers: headspace O2 and CO2 (optional) testing in containers (coffee, milk powder, food, cheese, cans, Tetra Pak, beverages, etc.)
  • Extended applications
    • Ampoule bottles: headspace O2 and CO2 (optional) testing in ampoule-type bottles

Configurations
  • Standard configurations: Instrument, sampling probe, filter, seal gasket
  • Optional parts: Professional software, micro-printer, B2227 test frame for headspace gas analyzer, B2226 underwater sampling set, CO2 sensor, pressure sensor
