The C850M Integrated Water Insoluble Matter Testing System is a gravimetric-method instrument for detection of water-insoluble matter in chemical reagents and pharmaceutical excipients. It automates sample filtration, drying, cooling and precise weighing to produce traceable gravimetric results suitable for GMP environments.
Overview / Testing principleThe sample is dissolved in water, insoluble matter is separated by filtration and washed. After controlled drying and cooling, the insoluble residue is weighed to determine water-insoluble matter content by gravimetric calculation.
Applications- Chemical reagents: determination of water-insoluble matter in various laboratory and industrial reagents.
- Pharmaceutical excipients: determination of water-insoluble matter in excipients used in drug formulations.
Characteristics- Traceable data: automated gripper handles and moves 12 test cups for rapid sequential weighing; dual-chamber design separates evaporation and weighing to protect the balance from high temperature and humidity.
- High-precision weighing: standard electronic balance with 0.1 mg resolution and optional higher-precision balances (repeatability down to 0.05 mg or 0.01 mg resolution); balance visible through viewing panel and calibratable with standard weights.
- Safe & compliant: fully closed, zero-leakage water bath to prevent gas escape; automatic filter-residue cleaning and drainage; rapid liquid cooling for room-temperature weighing; nitrogen purge cycling and independent electrical control; condensation recovery to reduce environmental impact.
- Intelligent control & software: 10.1-inch medical-grade touch-screen interface (instrument operable without PC); space-saving desktop mainframe; automated washing, drying, cooling and weighing cycles; sensors with audible/visual alerts; network port for remote control and upgrades; professional software meeting GMP requirements with multi-level user management and optional 21 CFR Part 11 electronic signature support.
Test standard complianceComplies with GB/T 9738 and other relevant standards for testing water-insoluble matter in chemical reagents and pharmaceutical excipients.
