Product description
High-profile disposable microtome blades 818 are engineered for sectioning thicker tissue blocks, delivering consistent sharpness and extended cutting life thanks to stainless steel construction and a PTFE-based coating.

Design highlights
The rectangular-shaped corners enable use of the full blade length for sectioning. A dispenser alignment pin allows direct loading into compatible blade holders and facilitates safe handling in routine histology workflows.

Intended use
For use with Leica Biosystems microtomes and cryostats classified and labeled as medical devices for histological medical diagnosis, e.g. cancer diagnosis.
