Interlocking Intramedullary Nail SystemOverviewThe modular intramedullary nail system is indicated for fixation of proximal humeral, proximal femoral, femoral shaft and tibial fractures. The portfolio includes PFNA, femoral reconstruction (standard and long gamma) nails and tibial interlocking nails with matching locking bolts, blades, lag screws and end caps. Components are mainly titanium alloy; selected femoral nails are available in stainless steel.
Humeral Interlocking Nail- Proximal multiloc screws (4.5 mm, gold): flat-head design reduces risk of screw penetration.
- Four suture holes in the tail enable secure rotator cuff attachment.
- Countersunk screw options minimize implant prominence.
- Use of 3.5 mm (green) locking self-tapping screws (screw-in-screw) can enhance fixation stability.
Multidimensional Fixation of Proximal Humeral Interlocking ScrewThe proximal locking hole maintains angular stability and reduces screw back-out; multi-plane interlocking options limit implant toggling.
Humeral Interlocking Screw (4.0 mm) — Ascending ScrewSelection of an ascending screw provides medial calcar support for proximal humeral fractures.
Proximal Femoral Nail Anti-rotation (PFNA)Application: Used in a variety of proximal femoral fractures including:
