The shielding setup provides protection against scattered radiation for the examiner and assistant in interventional cardiology. The Connect & Protect concept allows flexible adaptation to room and procedure requirements through a detachable intermediate curtain.

Image-Safely setup
This product is part of the Image-Safely system, designed to expand the protection zone and enable the use of protective clothing with lower lead equivalent. The flexible panel curtain lies flush to the patient’s body when positioned and closes the gap between shield and patient, reducing scattered radiation from below.

Connect & Protect feature
The central element is the OT58001 lead acrylic radiation protection shield. A connecting curtain with a lead equivalent of 0.50 mm Pb links two shields seamlessly to create an extended protection zone against scattered radiation. Shields can be separated quickly when a single-shield setup is required.
