Description

The Internal Nasal Airway Splint is designed to provide septal support and allow nasal breathing postoperatively through integral airways. The Internal Nasal Airway Splint is manufactured from Silicone elastomer which is biocompatible, Latex and Phthalate free. The Internal Nasal Airway Splints' geometry creates a pressure gradient force which aids airflow. Increased airflow allows better nasal breathing, improving post-op nasal breathing and minimizing blockages. Each splint has a suture indicator for easier suture placement through the splint and septum to prevent posterior dislodgement. The device is intended for short-term use only (up to 29 days).
