Description

Pain Block is an advanced transcutaneous electrical stimulation medical device that non-invasively delivers synthetic non-pain signals through skin-attached electrodes to provide effective pain relief.
Using Scrambler Therapy, a clinically validated approach to pain management, Pain Block retrains the nervous system by replacing pain signals with “non-pain” information.
Certified for the management of acute and chronic pain, Pain Block is designed to treat a wide range of conditions, including chronic neuropathic pain, refractory pain syndromes, and postoperative pain, offering a powerful, drug-free solution for long-lasting relief.

Indications / Intended use
  • Management of chronic pain
  • Neuropathic pain
  • Refractory pain conditions
  • Cancer-related pain
  • Acute pain, post-traumatic pain, postoperative pain and post-treatment pain
  • Musculoskeletal pain (myalgia)

Treatment principle
  • Generation of synthetic non-pain signals by the device
  • Transmission of these signals via electrodes attached to the skin
  • Normalization of excessive pain signaling through the applied signals
  • Induction of normalized pain perception at the central nervous system level

Main advantages and features
  • Non-invasive application using skin electrodes only, minimizing systemic exposure
  • Reported immediate pain-relief effects in clinical cases (example: sustained relief after 15 sessions, lasting 3 months)
  • Effective pain control with limited reported adverse effects
  • User-friendly operation with touch screen and knob for time and intensity control; includes voice guidance
  • Enhanced safety: real-time monitoring of electrode cable connection and automatic output cutoff upon electrode detachment
  • Multi-user / multi-channel support: selectable single-user or dual-user modes; four independent channels
  • Therapeutic durability: adjustable intensity and repeated sessions support sustained pain reduction

Specifications / Technical data
  • Number of channels: 4 channels (8 electrodes)
  • Time setting: 1–60 minutes
  • Electrodes: external medical electrodes for skin application
  • Input voltage & frequency: AC 220 V, 60 Hz
  • Power consumption: 50 VA
  • Modes: single-user / dual-user selectable; in dual-user mode time and automatic output-increase settings configurable separately
  • Safety functions: automatic output cutoff on electrode detachment; cable connection error indication; smooth output recovery after pause
  • Product nature: mobile tray is not a medical device
  • Quality system certifications: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 13485:2016
