Description

Overview
MEDPRINT integrates the Stratasys J750 Digital Anatomy Printer to produce patient-specific, functional 3D anatomical models for surgical simulation, clinical training and device testing. Developed and validated in collaboration with hospitals, clinicians and medical device manufacturers to reproduce anatomical compliance and procedural realism.

Key capabilities
  • Materials with variable softness and compliance to replicate healthy and pathological tissues.
  • High detail fidelity: vascular wall thicknesses to 1.5 mm; vessel internal diameters down to 1 mm; replication of chordae tendineae, valve leaflets and annuli.
  • Customization from patient imaging for case-specific models.
  • Clinically realistic haptic feedback for procedural training.
  • Bones and soft tissues with variable density and stiffness to simulate complex pathologies.

Clinical simulation & functionality
  • Enables simulation of clinical procedures in a realistic, patient-safe environment.
  • Accurate rehearsal of cutting, suturing, guidewire and catheter insertion, TAVR deployment and similar procedures.
  • Models printable on demand with unlimited replication potential.

Technology & materials
The solution uses the Stratasys J750 Digital Anatomy Printer combined with MEDPRINT's integration and exclusive material sets optimized to reproduce anatomical texture, compliance and multi-material interactions for realistic surgical simulation and device testing.
