The MEDpro Endopyelotomy stent is used for temporary drainage from the uteropelvic junction to the bladder. This is required when an incision of a stricture has been made. The segment with no side ports prevents post-operative narrowing of the uteral lumen whilst preventing ingrowths of the uteral wall to the stent. Intended purpose: The Endopyelotomy Stent is intended to facilitate temporary urinary drainage from kidney to urinary bladder in urology procedures through body orifices. The MEDpro Endopyelotomy Stent is made of blue radiopaque polyurethane and comes in a sterile peel-open packaging. It is intended for one-time use only.
