MEI 641 is the perfect dry-cut lens edger for small and medium labs that are ready for the complete automation of the finishing of their jobs. MEI 641 can handle even the most complex jobs with its six fast spindles, and allows you to keep pace with the demanding eyeglass market. The addition of the automatic loading device and our stacker units to feed the MEI 641, avoids the human intervention to feed the machine for more than one or more hours of continuous automatic production. The addition of the TBA unit avoids the need for the edging block, reducing the consumable and labor costs for the blocking and deblocking operation. The TBA unit, with the built-in inspection system assures the automatic measurement of all optical parameters without increasing the edging cycle time. The system gives the machine the ability to inspect the lens before the edging and avoids time-consuming rejects.
