Description

Multi-Chamber Bag System offers unparalleled solution customisation to elevate patient care. With concentrations of 1.5%, 2.5% and3.85% Dextrose Monohydrate within a single bag, individual patient needs are met effectively. • User friendly • No infusion pain • Ensures long life of peritoneum membrane • Convenient to use various concentrations for dialysis. Clinical Pharmacology The basic principle of peritoneal dialysis is creating an osmotic gradient across the peritoneal membrane through dextrose. The dextrose in the CAPD solution makes it hyperosmolar to plasma, enabling the transfer of toxic substances and metabolites, present in high concentration in the blood, across the peritoneal membrane into the dialysate. Features Enhanced Safety Through Separation In TRI-CHOICE bags, Dextrose solutions at lower pH levels undergo separate autoclaving from other electrolytes preventing formation of Glucose Degradation Products (GDPs). Tailored Osmolarity TRI-CHOICE empowers adjustment of osmolarity of final solutions, allowing for precise customisation to suit each patient's unique requirements. Solution Customisation The Multi-Chamber Bag System offers the flexibility to select Dextrose Monohydrate concentrations of 1.5%, 2.5%, and 3.85% within the same bag, catering to individual patient requirements. Optimal Mixture Prior to Use By mixing the solution immediately before application, TRI-CHOICE achieves a low GDP Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) fluid with a pH level close to neutral. This innovative process ensures an effective and balanced treatment experience.
