Overview
The Veress Needle is a sterile, single-patient device composed of a stainless steel hollow needle and a spring-loaded blunt stylet. It includes a high-flow rotating stopcock with luer lock connector for insufflation and is available as sterile single-packed units or for inclusion in ProcedurePak® trays.

How the product works
The spring-loaded stylet retracts during abdominal wall penetration and then advances to shield the needle tip once the abdominal cavity is reached, providing audible and tactile feedback to confirm correct placement. The needle is used to establish pneumoperitoneum prior to trocar and cannula insertion in laparoscopic procedures.
