TEACHING FUME HOODS When complete visibility is required, Mott offers various models of glass-sided fume hoods that are ideal for higher education settings. It allows students to view demonstrations or the teacher can observe students using the hood. Double-faced island fume hoods have full viewing side and back glass panels, single-faced fume hoods have full viewing side windows with an optional glass back panel. Hoods are UL 1805 listed, tested to ASHRAE 110 standards and are designed for multiple applications. Our offering includes: Next generation Double-Faced Observation2 Constant Air Volume with vertical rising sashes or combination sashes Next generation Single-Faced Observation2 Variable Air Volume with vertical rising sash or combination sash Demonstration Variable Air Volume with vertical rising sashes OBSERVATION2 FUME HOOD Exhaust System - Suitable for use in either Constant Air Volume (CAV) or Variable Air Volume (VAV) applications. Restricted upper by-pass is standard for VAV applications. Configurations - Available in single and doublefaced configurations with either vertical rising sash or combination vertical rising and horizontal sliding sashes. Face Velocities - Provides containment at face velocities as low as 60 fpm Additional Plumbing - Need more plumbing fixtures? If more than four plumbing fixtures per post are required, deckmounted fixtures are an available option. Service controls can be base cabinet mounted. Optimized Viewing Area - Full view sash for unobstructed sightlines with 36" high viewing area and narrow post design allows for more usable interior width and provides enhanced visibility.
