The bilateral anatomical model of a equine’s mandible with a fracture, manufactured by Nacional Ossos, was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals in Veterinary Dentistry and Large Animal Surgery. Ideal for hands-on training, workshops, courses, and distance learning, this simulator enables the practice of mandibular fracture reduction and stabilization with a high degree of realism in both in-person and distance learning settings.

With a detailed anatomical structure and mechanical properties similar to those of equine bone, the model allows for drilling and cutting, the use of real surgical instruments, and the simulation of fixation using commercially available implants .
