OverviewMaia is a professional podiatry LED lamp designed for clinical environments where uniform illumination, low glare and eye protection are critical. The lamp integrates the patented FARO reflective optical project to deliver a homogeneous illuminated field and a highly defined luminous spot, suitable for routine and precision podiatric procedures.
Key features- Professional podiatry LED lamp with uniform light distribution
- Electronic lighting control activated by joystick, sensor or compatible dental/podiatry unit
- Continuous dimming from maximum to minimum while maintaining constant colour temperature
- Automatic memory of last used intensity after shutdown
- Patented FARO reflective optical system avoiding direct exposure to LED sources
- 258 small reflecting facets per reflector for a fully uniform illuminated field (170 x 95 mm)
- Defined luminous spot and low glare to protect patients’ and staff’s eyes
- 2D balanced head rotating on two axes for precise positioning
Optical performanceThe FARO reflective optical project prevents direct exposure to the two LED sources and produces an exceptionally uniform illuminated field of 170 x 95 mm thanks to 258 reflecting facets in each reflector. The lamp generates a scialytic luminous spot shaped as an ellipse of 9 x 6 mm, smaller than the minimum shadow dimensions required by regulation (Ø 12 mm), reducing glare and improving visual comfort during delicate podiatric tasks.
Controls and usability- Activation via joystick, sensor or compatible dental/podiatry unit
- Continuous dimming with stable colour temperature across the range
- Automatic storage of the last intensity setting after power-off
