Test principle
This assay employs immunochromatography: the specimen migrates along the membrane by capillary action. If SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid antigen is present, it forms an immune complex with monoclonal antibody-coated colloidal gold particles and is captured at the test line, producing a visible colored line. The control line must appear to confirm a valid test.

Storage
Sealed: store at 4–30°C; shelf life 24 months; keep dry. Opened: use the test cassette within 1 hour after removing it from the foil pouch.

Test procedure
  • Wash and dry hands. Open package and remove test cassette.
  • Place extraction tube on holder. Add 8 drops of Extract Reagent R1 to the tube.
  • Insert swab specimen into extraction tube, rotate ~15 seconds, press swab head against tube wall to release specimen, then remove and squeeze out liquid. Dispose swab safely.
  • Attach dripper to extraction tube and add 2 drops into sample well of cassette; start timer.
  • Read result at 20–30 minutes. Results read after 30 minutes may be invalid.
