Description

The DC-STIMULATOR MOBILE is a portable, clinically certified device (ISO 13485) for transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) of the brain for use in daily routine in therapy centers and practices.

The device offers:

  • Very easy handling: preset stimulation protocols, flexible current strengths up to 2 mA. The device is particularly useful when:
  • a fixed protocol with a predefined dosage is used that does not need to be varied,
  • fixed time windows for treatment must be adhered to.
  • Maximum safety: maximum patient safety through continuous monitoring of electrode impedance and automatic stop function in case of contact problems.
  • Flexible use: We supply various device configurations to suit your needs.
  • Area of application: As a medical device, the device is certified for the treatment of depression.

DC-STIMULATOR MOBILE in combination with the tDCS cap:

In combination with our innovative tDCS knitted cap, the application in therapy is now particularly easy and comfortable. There is no need for the time-consuming attachment of each electrode with rubber bands. The knitted caps with electrodes made of elastic silicone yarn fit the shape of the head perfectly, offer secure and reproducible electrode placement, and ensure greater patient comfort. Studies on home use are currently underway and are showing promising initial results.

---------------------------------

The DC-STIMULATOR MOBILE is ideal for use in double-blind randomized controlled trials, as it can be adapted to your needs in experimental settings. We offer the following two variants:

  • DC-STIMULATOR MOBILE with tES knit caps: suitable for studies with large numbers of subjects and/or with standardized electrode positions. Also suitable for home use studies.
  • DC-STIMULATOR MOBILE with rubber electrodes and rubber bands: suitable for studies with flexible electrode arrangements, new stimulation areas, experimental current intensities, and electrode shapes.

We have already delivered large quantities of devices to renowned research institutions worldwide.

neuroConn tES technology

With our neuroConn DC-STIMULATOR devices, we are among the market leaders and pioneers of transcranial electrical stimulation worldwide and have contributed significantly to the establishment of non-invasive electrical brain stimulation in research and therapy. Our devices are used in a large proportion of internationally published studies involving tES—primarily in research projects on depression, but also in studies on tDCS in the rehabilitation of motor skills and speech (aphasia) after a stroke, in cognitive disorders, in pain, ADHD, and in neurological rehabilitation.
