Nicfa Airflow Ultra is a compact, fully automated laminar flow and filtration system engineered for critical ISO5 operating rooms. It integrates AISI304 stainless steel construction, H14 absolute filtration, continuous environmental monitoring via the Nicfa Smart System, and design features that simplify installation, cleaning and maintenance.

  • Double gasket and double sealing grid system to prevent leakage or bypass of unfiltered air.
  • Motorized independent containment grids with synchronized intelligent compression (automatic filter locking) controlled by the Nicfa Controller or external systems, enabling uniform sealing without manual intervention.
  • Integrated tilting mechanism for safe access to the mixing chamber to facilitate cleaning and sanitization operations.
  • Micro-perforated Acotex technical fabric panels to distribute sterile air uniformly; available with uniform or differentiated mesh to fine-tune laminar flow.
  • Panels divided into removable sections to accelerate daily maintenance (quick removal, cleaning and reinstallation).


Nicfa Smart System (environmental monitoring and intelligence)
The Nicfa Smart System continuously monitors critical environmental parameters, interprets them in real time and adapts laminar flow, filtration and sanitization devices to maintain ISO 14644 compliance. It provides detection, automation, traceability and tools for control, interaction and strategic analysis.

  • Nicfa Eyes: monitors the critical area under the laminar flow and automatically activates the AHU when motion is detected; switches to ECO mode when no activity is present to optimize consumption.


Expandable recirculation unit (optional)
Airflow Ultra can be equipped with an integrated recirculation unit to increase operating efficiency, autonomy and internal climate control without significant energy penalty. The recirculation unit is constructed in AISI304 stainless steel with a technopolymer finish and can be installed remotely on two sides of the mixing chamber.
  • Each module integrates 2 single-suction centrifugal fans, direct drive, with high-performance impellers.
  • GreenTech EC motors with external rotor, integrated electronic control, efficiency exceeding IE4 class, maintenance-free; motor power up to 0.75 kW and flow rate up to 1500 m³/h.
  • Four integrated silencers (two on suction side and two on delivery side) for very low noise operation.
  • Complete management by the Nicfa Controller and dynamic regulation by Nicfa Probes to adjust airflow based on actual environmental conditions.
