Back Immobilization Brace – NOVASPINE ST

The NOVASPINE ST brace by NOVATEX MEDICAL is a single-patient use medical device for back immobilization. It combines the comfort and flexibility of an elastic textile with a custom rigid or semi-rigid molding, thanks to an innovative resin structure.

Clinical indications:

• Severe pathologies: Treatment of the spine presenting a "severe" pathology with significant algo-functional repercussions.
• Joint limitation: Need for strict limitation of anteroposterior and lateral flexions.
• Stabilization: Support and stabilization of the back in the post-traumatic or post-operative phase.

This molding technology guarantees perfect and secure immobilization:

• Custom morphological adjustment: The use of a thermosetting resin makes it possible to mold the back directly on the patient. The final device is thus perfectly adapted to their anatomy.
• Comfort and elasticity: Made from a soft fabric that stretches in all directions, it features an adjustable anterior closure for much easier application.
• Safety and ease of use: The system is completely "clean". The mixing of the resin (polyols + hardener) is done without a machine, simply by pressing on the airtight flexible pouch. The chemical reaction takes place entirely inside: there is therefore no risk of inhalation, skin contact, and this guarantees a pollution-free "zero waste" process.

• Preparation kit: Rollers (available in two sizes) are offered as accessories to help evenly distribute the resin inside the device prior to application (available to order as an extra).
