The S-EVAP-KD (Cat# 12018) from Organomation is an advanced large-scale evaporator designed to concentrate up to eight samples simultaneously in Kuderna-Danish (KD) flasks. Ideal for environmental, analytical, and food testing labs, this compact system offers efficient solvent recovery (up to 97%) and supports both individual and central solvent collection configurations. The S-EVAP-KD is compatible with two standard KD flask sizes: 500 mL flasks: directly supported without modification. 250 mL flasks: easily used with adapter rings (Cat# XA2284) to ensure a secure fit and optimal heat transfer. Glassware sets are available for: Individual solvent collection (250 mL: Cat# GS2152; 500 mL: Cat# GS2153) Central solvent collection (250 mL: Cat# GS2152-C with Cat# GS2158-C8; 500 mL: Cat# GS2153-C with Cat# GS2158-C8) The system’s gentle water bath heats samples evenly up to 70°C, preventing degradation of delicate analytes. Its rotating circular rack design allows front access to all positions while conserving valuable bench space. The vacuum-insulated concentrator tubes further protect samples during evaporation.
