Compact, Customizable Evaporation for Small Batch Solvent Concentration The 15 Position MICROVAP is a compact nitrogen evaporator designed for small batch solvent evaporation, perfect for concentrating sample groups in microcentrifuge tubes. Ideal for life science and pharmaceutical labs, it offers efficient sample concentration with minimal hood space. This unit accommodates up to 15 samples, customizable to fit vials with an outer diameter of 10–22 mm. Additional inserts are available for different vial sizes, ensuring precise heat transfer for every sample. Custom heat blocks and inserts are made-to-order, and Organomation requests three sample vials or precise measurements for each vial size upon order. Featuring digital temperature controls and a solid aluminum heating block, the MICROVAP provides uniform heat from ambient to 130°C with accuracy of ±2°C, suitable for both high and low boiling point solvents. An unheated version is also available for ambient temperature evaporation. Gas flow is uniformly distributed across all positions, ensuring even evaporation. Stainless steel luer lock hubs and 4-inch, 19-gauge stainless steel needles make sample removal easy. Part of the MICROVAP family, this 15-position model is interchangeable with other MICROVAP units, such as those with 24 or 96 positions, offering flexibility for labs that need to scale evaporation capacity.
