OverviewI-Max 3D XPRO is a new-generation dental panoramic Cone Beam (CBCT) designed to provide high-resolution images for diagnosis, treatment planning and guided surgery. This 4-in-1 unit performs panoramic 2D, 3D CBCT, cephalometric acquisitions and 3D object scans (impression trays, plaster models).
Key features- Ultra resolution: 70 microns (μm)
- Max field of view: 16 x 11 cm (largest available on the unit)
- Sensor: Super IGZO intelligent detector (Trueview Art)
Core benefits- High spatial resolution for improved diagnostic accuracy (70 μm)
- 4-in-1 multifunctionality: panoramic, 3D CBCT, cephalometric and 3D object scans
- Compact footprint with wall-mount option (floor occupation <1 m²) or column version for flexible installation
- Support for surgical guide creation to enable safer, controlled implant procedures
- Multi-FOV 3D Cone Beam: 20 3D programs with FOVs from 16x11 cm down to 5x5 cm
- Face-to-face patient positioning to improve acquisition reproducibility and image quality
Super IGZO imaging technologies- Trueview Art: next-generation intelligent sensor for superior imaging
- Depai: AI-based denoising to reduce noise and enhance clarity
- Focus Scintillator: reduces noise and improves contrast
Imaging performance and workflowI-Max 3D XPRO delivers detailed 3D reconstructions with high spatial resolution to support accurate diagnostics and personalised treatment planning. Clinicians can adapt the imaging volume to clinical needs (small FOV for single tooth, medium for a jaw, large for full cranium) to minimise radiation by targeting the area of interest. The system integrates into digital workflows and supports implant planning and guided surgery.
SoftwareQuickVision 3D implant planning software (bundled) reconstructs panoramic views, cross-sections and 3D bone models from axial data, identifies the mandibular canal, computes bone density and enables implant placement simulation in 2D/3D. Planning features include collision detection and STL export for guided surgery.
Processing algorithmsAutoMAR (Automatic Metal Artefact Reduction) lowers metal-related artefacts; advanced filters and processing algorithms (leveraging Super IGZO and AI denoising) further improve final image quality compared with standard sensors.
Available versions and installationI-Max 3D XPRO is available in column-mounted (floor) and wall-mounted versions to adapt to different clinic layouts and space constraints.
