SPROTTE® Lumbar – needles for atraumatic lumbar puncture. Developed with Prof. Sprotte, this pencil-point (ogival) needle with optimized lateral eye is designed to permit atraumatic penetration of ligamentous structures, to optimize CSF flow and to reduce the incidence of post-lumbar puncture headache (PLPH). The SPROTTE® Lumbar supports safe and efficient diagnostic and therapeutic lumbar puncture procedures.
