The fluid bed dryer ESSICCA uses devices and sensors driven by specific drying programs which allow the optimization of the process critical parameters.
The inlet air temperature signa/ which is measured by the air sensor in contact with the fluidized product, which should not exceed the critica/ temperature of the product (pharmaceutica/ stability)
Inlet air humidity is kept at a narrow dew point range in order to get reproducibility batch to batch.
The air flow rate is configured based on the Minimum
Fluidization Velocity, MFV (see experimental protocol)
In optimized conditions, the drying process is short and reproducible allowing high quality products.
