DescriptionDifa IV ® CHG dressings incorporate a water-clear ionic hydrogel containing chlorhexidine and glycerol as an island pad on a polyurethane (PU) film backing with hypoallergenic adhesive. The tacky gel provides a soft contact layer with high absorption capacity and supports catheter securement without requiring additional fixation tapes or secondary film dressings.

Indications- Fixation and insertion-site management of cannulae and indwelling catheters.
How to use- Open the pouch using aseptic technique.
- If present, remove the central window with the two fixation strips.
- Peel off the fixation strips to secure catheter wings.
- Peel off the large flap of the release liner and center the gel pad over the insertion site; do not stretch the dressing during application.
- Remove the small flap of the release liner if present and smooth the dressing from center to edges.
- Slowly peel off the paper frame while smoothing the edges with your fingertips.
- Record product information on the paper label and place it on or near the dressing.
