Overview
Beds of the HESTIA series are designed for acute and long-term care units. They provide intuitive operation and ergonomic comfort for patients while reducing caregiver workload. The bed's construction and features facilitate daily care and clinical tasks.

Stable 3-column construction
The mattress platform is raised by three electric columns that rigidly link the chassis and platform, ensuring high stability and carrying capacity. Non-absorbent, easy-clean materials reduce cleaning time and infection risk.

Width of the mattress platform
An optimized mattress width of 90 cm ensures comfort and compatibility with standard clinical mattresses and accessories.

Electric lift of the mattress platform
Wide vertical adjustment minimizes manual handling for staff and improves patient transfer and positioning. The lowest position aids patient mobilization.

Safe operating load
Robust construction supports a safe operating load up to 300 kg, ensuring reliable support for heavier patients and repeated clinical use.

Weighing system
Optional calibrated and certified automatic weighing system (HESTIA PRO) offers configurable weighing modes, data evaluation and graphical display of results for clinical records.

Bed exit alarm
Optional audible alarm notifies staff when a patient attempts to leave the bed or when significant weight changes occur.

Reversible lateral tilt
Bilateral tilt function reduces physical strain on caregivers during repositioning, hygiene procedures and linen changes.

Double autoregression
Autoregression of back and thigh segments improves patient comfort, reduces abdominal pressure and lowers the risk of pressure injuries.

Trendelenburg / Antitrendelenburg
Quick, motorized positioning to Trendelenburg and Antitrendelenburg up to 16° at the touch of a button for clinical procedures.

Mattress platform
Durable, easily washable removable plastic slats provide a strong, hygienic sleeping surface suitable for intensive use.

Extension of the mattress platform
Telescopic extension up to 20 cm accommodates taller patients.

CPR function
Rapid release function enables immediate positioning for cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Side rails
Full-length folding side rails protect against falls and deploy via a single-handed mechanism with dampers. In the lowest position rails store below mattress level for unobstructed egress.

Fifth wheel
Integrated fifth wheel improves maneuverability, especially on uneven surfaces and during single-person handling.

Patient control
Optional ergonomic hand control allows the patient to operate core functions safely.

Nurse control with LCD panel
Nurse control with LCD displays function status, alarms, weighing data and automatic lateral therapy; it enables locking of selected patient functions.

Foot controls
Foot-operated panel controls platform elevation, lateral tilt, examination position and CPR; safety activation button included.

Universal accessories holders
Mounting points at headboard (and optionally footboard) accept IV poles, bedside lighting, bars and extension sets.

Bed linen shelf
Pull-out shelf facilitates linen changes and protects the nurse control from damage or unauthorized use.

Plastic chassis cover
