Product OverviewFLUID CONTROL 2225 is the new interdisciplinary suction and irrigation pump from Richard Wolf, designed for use in gynecology, urology, and general surgery. It features an optional mobile balancing module.
Applications- Developed for use in three disciplines: gynecology (hysteroscopy), urology (endourology), and general surgery (laparoscopy).
- Ready for interdisciplinary use without additional license fees or costs.
Advantages at a Glance- One pump, three disciplines: Interdisciplinary use in gynecology, urology, and general surgery.
- No license fees: Simple selection of the relevant discipline prior to each procedure.
- High irrigation performance: Max. 1800 ml/min, depending on discipline and intervention.
- 60% higher irrigation performance compared with previous models.
- High suction performance: Max. 2000 ml/min, depending on discipline and intervention.
- Secure fluid balancing: Continuous monitoring and display of the fluid deficit throughout the entire intervention.
- Continuous irrigation flow: Outstanding visualization during any procedure, especially with small-sized instruments.
- NEW: Integrated vacuum function for fast exchange of fluid and optimum viewing conditions.
- Dedicated to performance: Standard profiles for use with endoscopes from other manufacturers and individual presets for maximum irrigation performance with selected Richard Wolf instruments.
- Mobile balancing module: Easy to move between operating theaters.

Discipline-Specific Information- Gynecology: Used for intrauterine distension with irrigation fluids, extraction of secretion fluids via suction, and monitoring the fluid deficit during endoscopic interventions. Suitable for both hysteroscopic and laparoscopic interventions. The balancing module features two integrated weighing cells for precise measurement of fluid deficit.
- Urology: Suitable for a wide range of endourological interventions, including irrigating the upper and lower urinary tract, extracting secretion fluids via suction, and monitoring the fluid deficit during endoscopic interventions such as TUR. Pressure and flow are adapted to the relevant surgical intervention, with automatic adjustment depending on the application (pressure regulated, flow regulated, or both).
- General Surgery: Ideal for irrigating body cavities and extracting secretion fluids via suction during endoscopic interventions in laparoscopy. Can be used across disciplines for all laparoscopic interventions within gynecology, urology, and general surgery. When combined with the multifunction suction-irrigation system and the ENDOCAM Logic 4K camera system, it ensures an excellent view of the operating area.
Instrument PresetsPresets are specifically adapted to Richard Wolf instruments to ensure optimal performance, even with small-sized instruments.
