Short description
gigasept® FF (new) is a high-level disinfectant concentrate for manual reprocessing of surgical and sensitive medical instruments, including flexible and rigid endoscopes and ultrasonic probes.

Fields of application
For final disinfection of surgical instruments and sensitive medical instruments. Particularly suitable for heat-sensitive and heat-resistant endoscopes (flexible and rigid) and ultrasound probes.

Instructions for use
gigasept® FF (new) is supplied as a concentrate and must be diluted with cold water to the required working concentration. Always clean instruments before disinfection.

Application example
1 litre of a 6% working solution corresponds to 940 ml of water and 60 ml of gigasept® FF (new). Immerse endoscopes and instruments ensuring complete coverage, including lumens and hollow instruments. After disinfection, rinse thoroughly with water of at least drinking-water quality or preferably sterile distilled or fully deionised water to remove residues. Follow instrument manufacturers' reprocessing recommendations.

Standing time
The working solution may be used up to 14 days if it is exclusively used for disinfecting previously cleaned instruments and remains uncontaminated. National regulations may limit allowable use time.

Additional use
In addition to manual instrument and endoscope reprocessing, gigasept® FF (new) is suitable for semi-automated machines that operate by a cyclic process at room temperature.

Product data - Composition
100 g solution contain the following active substances: 93.9 g reaction product of DMO-THF, ethanol and water.

Special advice
Always read the label and product information before use. For professional use only. Use appropriate protective equipment (e.g. nitrile or butyl gloves).

Interactions
Do not mix gigasept® FF (new) with other products. Contact with amine-containing application solutions can cause precipitation and irreversible discoloration if amine-containing cleaners used in precleaning are not thoroughly rinsed off.

Storage
Do not store for long periods above 25 °C. Keep container tightly closed. Protect from frost, heat and sunlight. Store in the original container. Do not use the product after expiry date. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet for full safety information.
