The Cholesterol Meter is a portable, battery operated in vitro diagnostic medical device and it is working with Cholesterol Test Strips. Cholesterol Meter is used for quantitative determination of cholesterol in capillary blood, venous blood, plasma, arterial blood and serum using Amperometric principle. Cholesterol measurements are used in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders involving excess cholesterol in the blood and lipid and lipoprotein metabolism disorders. Simply add a drop of blood to test strip, and the result is displayed on the screen in 20 seconds. The device is suitable for testing cholesterol with blood obtained from alternative sites like forearm, upper arm, hand, tigh, calf or fingers. It is used outside the body and suitable for professional use.
