DM-RP4K2 4K Dual-Channel Surgical Video Recorder
SIMULTANEOUS RECORDING OF TWO 4K SURGICAL VIDEO SOURCES
The DM-RP4K2 is a professional dual-channel 4K surgical video recorder designed to capture two HDMI video sources within one recording platform.
It can simultaneously record both input channels or independently record Channel 1 or Channel 2, depending on the clinical workflow.
The system is suitable for operating room documentation, medical education, surgical training, case review, academic presentation and integrated operating room projects.
DUAL 4K HDMI INPUTS
The recorder provides two HDMI 2.0 inputs for connecting two compatible surgical video sources, such as:
• Endoscopic camera + surgical field camera
• Surgical microscope + room camera
• Head-mounted surgical camera + endoscopic camera
• Two endoscopic or medical imaging systems
• Other compatible HDMI video sources
Both channels support video signals up to 3840 × 2160p at 60 fps and are backward compatible with 1920 × 1080p at 60 fps.
SIMULTANEOUS OR SELECTIVE RECORDING
The user can select the appropriate recording mode according to the procedure:
• Record Channel 1 and Channel 2 simultaneously
• Record Channel 1 independently
• Record Channel 2 independently
Dual-channel recording preserves two complementary views of the same procedure, providing more complete visual information for documentation, teaching and post-case review.
For example, the system can record the internal endoscopic image together with an external view of the surgical field, allowing viewers to understand both the operative detail and the overall procedure.
7-INCH TOUCHSCREEN
The integrated 7-inch capacitive touchscreen provides real-time video preview and convenient access to recording, photography, playback and system settings.
The recorder can be operated using:
• Capacitive touchscreen
• Physical control buttons
• 2.4 GHz wireless remote control
This provides flexible operation inside the operating room and allows the recording process to be controlled without interrupting the surgical workflow.
4K60 VIDEO RECORDING
The DM-RP4K2 supports high-resolution surgical video recording with the following formats:
• Maximum input resolution: 3840 × 2160p at 60 fps
• Maximum recording resolution: 3840 × 2160p at 60 fps
• Full HD compatibility: 1920 × 1080p at 60 fps
• Video encoding: H.264 High Profile
• Video file format: MP4
• Image file format: BMP
• Configurable recording bitrate
The system also supports video recording, image capture and configurable continuous photography.
LOCAL AND EXTERNAL STORAGE
Recorded videos and images can be stored on the internal SSD or transferred to external storage devices.
Supported storage options include:
• Internal SSD up to 2TB
• USB flash drive
• Portable USB hard drive
• Optional FTP storage server
The recorder provides two front USB ports and four rear USB ports for external storage, data export and compatible peripheral devices.
The final storage and backup workflow can be configured according to the hospital’s data management policy and project requirements.
LAN REMOTE ACCESS
The recorder supports Gigabit Ethernet connectivity through two RJ45 network ports.
When connected to the hospital’s local area network, authorized users can remotely:
• Preview the video signal
• Browse recorded videos and images
• Download recorded files
• Manage files within the configured network workflow
Optional FTP support allows recorded content to be archived on a centralized storage server for departmental data management.
FLEXIBLE AUDIO INPUT
The system provides microphone and line-level audio input options for recording voice commentary or compatible external audio sources together with the surgical video.
This can be used for surgical teaching, procedure explanation and academic case recording.
HDMI MONITOR OUTPUT
The recorder provides one HDMI 2.0 monitor output for connecting an external display.
Important: The dual-channel model does not provide an HDMI loop output. The loop-out connector used on the single-channel version is replaced by the second HDMI input.
For projects requiring one HDMI input and one HDMI loop output, the DM-RP4K1 single-channel model is recommended.
