Silbermann's medical gas valves, also known as line shut-off valves, are installed at defined points within the medical gas pipeline system to isolate specific areas for maintenance without disrupting gas flow throughout the entire system. These 3-piece ball-type medical gas valves also allow for immediate shut-off in emergencies, such as leaks or contamination. We offer a wide range of valve lengths and diameters to meet the various requirements of medical systems. These medical gas valves are compatible with various gas types, including oxygen, Air, nitrogen (N2), nitrous oxide (N2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), and Vacuum. They are labeled with the name of the gas and color-coded according to the established standard, and they also indicate the area or zone they control. Designed to endure high-pressure environments, this product is durable and long-lasting. These Line Shut-off Valves are designed to meet the NFPA 99c, ISO 7396-2 & G-01 standards; they are cleaned for medical gas use and 100% hydrostatic. Specifications Valve shall be 3 piece ball-type full bore design, with a bronze/ brass body, stainless steel ball, stem, bolts & nuts. Seat shall be Teflon (RPTFE) and seal Viton. Valves 1/2” to 2” shall have a minimum pressure rating of 4137 kpa (600 psi) wog. Valves 3” to 4” shall have a minimum pressure ratingof 2758 kpa (400 psi) wog. Valve shall require only a quarter turn from a fully open position to a fully closed position. Extensions stubs shall be K type with a minimum of 150 mm long to allow brazing without damaging the valve seat and seals due to heat transfer Each valve shall be hydrostatically tested for leakages.
