Product overviewThe Dura-Glide® All-Glass Automatic Sliding Door is an architectural sliding system available in bi-part or single slide configurations. It accepts 1/2" (12 mm) tempered glass with polished edges and integrates glass clamp hangers and a pre-assembled header for streamlined installation.
Safety, compliance and lockingThis system meets ANSI requirements and is UL listed. Locking options include single-point bottom rail deadlocks and optional electric solenoid locks (Fail Safe / Fail Secure) to support building access control strategies.
Breakout capabilities- Full Breakout (3000 model): All panels can break out at any travel point to enable large emergency egress.
- Partial Breakout (2000 model): Only sliding panel(s) break out at any travel point. The Dura-Glide 2000 can be installed without a floor track; the 3000 requires a track/threshold.
Performance & durabilityEquipped with a high-power motor to reduce mechanical wear, these doors are life-tested to a minimum of 1,000,000 cycles and are engineered to handle high pedestrian traffic while preserving a minimal sight line.
Installation & aestheticsPre-assembled header and panel sub-assemblies enable fast, trouble-free installation. All-glass panels and sidelights are designed to blend into building profiles and minimize visible hardware.
Benefits- Architectural transparency: full-glass panels and sidelights.
- Simplified installation: pre-assembled header and clamp hangers.
- Standards compliant: ANSI and UL listed with multiple locking options.
- High duty performance: motor and life-cycle testing for heavy use.
- Emergency egress options: model-dependent breakout configurations.

Product FAQs (selected)- How does this door lock? Typically a mechanical lock keyed from the outside with a thumb-turn inside; when locked the door does not break out. Electronic access control (keypad, card reader, key switch, biometric) can be integrated.
- Which Dura-Glide® doors are trackless? The Dura-Glide 2000 can operate without a floor track; the 3000 requires a track/threshold because all panels break out.
- What stile size options are available? The system is based on narrow and medium stile-and-rail panels; wider stiles will reduce sliding capacity.
