Description

Overview
Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy (EMTT) device for regeneration and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders. Non-invasive, evidence-based EMTT is used in outpatient settings and complements Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT). Typical applications include lower back pain, tendinopathies (rotator cuff, Achilles tendon) and other chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

At a glance
  • Evidence-based, non-invasive outpatient therapy
  • Wide range of therapeutic indications
  • High oscillating frequency with deep tissue penetration

Benefits of Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy (EMTT)
  • Treatment of non-specific and chronic pain
  • Minimal discomfort during procedures
  • Applicable to large body areas
  • Effective deep tissue penetration
  • Broad spectrum of treatment indications
  • Combinable with manual therapy, exercise and ESWT
  • High patient comfort and straightforward handling
  • Non-invasive and safe outpatient therapy
  • Cost-effective device with long service life and low maintenance

EMTT for musculoskeletal diseases
Degenerative joint diseases
Wear-and-tear conditions such as osteoarthritis (knees, hips, hands, shoulders, elbows), herniated discs and spondylarthrosis.

Pain treatment
Chronic pain conditions including low back pain, lumbago, tension and radiculopathy.

Sports injuries
Chronic tendinopathies, tendon overuse syndromes, pubic bone inflammation; used to accelerate recovery in sports medicine.

MAGNETOLITH ultra+ in daily practice
Treatment workflow designed for outpatient clinics:
  • 9 energy/intensity levels
  • Adjustable application frequency up to 10 pulses per second
  • Often performed without removal of clothing
  • Efficient and comfortable workflow
  • Handpiece positioning by hand or with flexible holding arm (click & connect)
  • Treatment duration typically 5–20 minutes depending on indication
  • Clinically relevant effects with occasional mild side effects (transient reddening or slight treatment pain)

MAGNETOLITH ultra+ highlights
  • High-frequency magnetic field (100–300 kHz)
  • Very high oscillation frequency and penetration depth suitable for deep tissue
  • Reported clinical field intensity around 80 mT
  • Continuous operation supported by water-cooled handpiece
  • Safe and easy handpiece replacement
  • Integrated touchscreen for selecting 9 intensity levels, frequency and pulse count
  • Optional equipment trolley for flexible use in practice

Experiences / Use notes
Can be used as standalone therapy or combined with ESWT. Reported practical benefits include faster outcomes, high patient acceptance and flexibility for localized or larger-area treatments in orthopaedics and sports medicine.
