Technology & Operation- Steam generation: integrated steam generator separated from the chamber. Advantages include no heating elements/reservoir in chamber, short heating time (with stand-by pre-heating: approx. 10 min to 121 °C with empty chamber), improved air removal, quicker cooling and immediate availability of steam after cooling.
- Condensation of exhaust steam via PT-100-regulated cooling system to protect waste water piping and prevent odors.
- Operation by touch-screen allows creation and naming of programs, graphical/numerical display of process data, and full parameter control.
- Pre-defined standard programs: Solids, Waste bags, Liquid waste, Liquids, Cleaning, Vacuum test*, Bowie-Dick test* (*in combination with vacuum device). Expandable up to 100 programs.

Sterilization of liquids - cooling- Combined temperature and pressure regulation reduces heat-up times for liquids (up to 50% shorter heat-up as standard).
- Optional rapid cooling systems (ambient air ventilation, mantle cooling with cooling water, mantle cooling + support pressure, radial ventilator, Ultracooler, spray cooling with recirculated sterile water) significantly reduce cooling times and prevent boiling/loss of culture media by using sterile-filtered support pressure during cooling.
- PT-100 reference vessel monitoring ensures the sterilization period begins only when liquid reaches target temperature; lid opening is restricted until liquid cools to safe temperature (≥ 80 °C) to prevent delayed boiling.
