Maintenance and sterilization

• Cleaning: remove bur after use and brush the handpiece; immerse the head in clean water and run for 15 seconds before sterilization.
• If the head is removable: detach head and wash head and body with clean water.
• Lubrication: use E-type oil via the oil nipple; spray 2–3 seconds. For continuous operation, lubricate every 30 minutes.
• If the head is heavily soiled: remove the back cap with a spanner and spray oil inside.
• Sterilization: autoclave 12 minutes at 135 °C before first use and after each treatment. Recommended procedure: remove bur and brush clean, clean exterior with appropriate solution, lubricate, place in autoclave pouch and autoclave 12 minutes at 135 °C.
