Description

It has one standard monopolar output and two different bipolar S.M.A.R.T. outputs that allow two accessories to be connected at the same time. Besides, the surgeon can perform coagulation, debulk and vaporization of the tissue in any environment (dry or wet). S.M.A.R.T. (SELF MONITORING AND RECOGNITION TECHNOLOGY) It is an innovative feature on-board with the newest Vesalius product range. This technology allows a precise communication between Vesalius QUANTUM SMART device and the connected accessories. The user receives important information about the accessory status (ref. number, number of times it was used, etc.) that facilitates product identification and lifecycle management, avoiding the risk of accessory overuse. Smart Accessories Vesalius QUANTUM SMART has a wide range of accessories that allow effective use of the device in multiple surgical procedures: parotid gland, neck, larynx, tonsils, adenoids, OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) and much more. The CUT function generates a precise cut, induced by the breaking of molecular bonds. The properties of the QMR allow to preserve the fabric thanks to a low temperature and an extremely delicate incision. The bipolar coagulation of Vesalius generators is recognized for precision and effectiveness. Differently from the standard electrosurgical high frequency devices (which cause the vessels collapse and tissue necrosis), Vesalius deploys a peculiar waveform (slightly out of resonance) that increases the temperature up to 63-65°C. This triggers the denaturation processes of fibrinogen which turns into fibrin and coagulates the blood, without thermal damage of vessels FEATURES Decreased intraoperative blood loss
