OverviewTopAir's Active Polypropylene Fume Hood is a ventilated laboratory enclosure constructed in one-piece welded white polypropylene, designed for chemical resistance and safe containment of noxious fumes. The unit expels chemical vapors outside the building via an external fan (roof or external wall). A presence sensor automates the front sash operation and adapts fan speed to sash position. In fault conditions the cabinet interior switches to bright red illumination for remote visual alarm.
VAV SystemThe integrated VAV (Variable Air Volume) system measures air velocity with a high-precision sensor and outputs an analog signal to control a VFD (Variable-Frequency Drive). The system is supplied fully installed and allows easy calibration, alarm setpoints and energy-saving automated control of airflow.
