Product OverviewThis neurointerventional training model is designed to simulate endovascular procedures for cerebral arteriovenous malformation (AVM) via the carotid access route. The model reproduces the common carotid artery, internal carotid artery and major intracranial branches, incorporating a tortuous AVM nidus to represent complex cerebrovascular anatomy for hands-on training and device evaluation.
Design and MaterialsThe intracranial segment includes an anatomically realistic AVM lesion with tortuous feeding vessels and nidus morphology to challenge catheter navigation. The internal carotid artery features physiological curves to simulate clinical catheter, guidewire and microcatheter delivery paths. Components are molded in transparent silicone and mounted on a clear acrylic base with custom supports for unobstructed 3D visualization during procedures.
Applications- Endovascular embolization training for cerebral AVM
- Hands-on practice of catheter, guidewire and microcatheter navigation through tortuous intracranial segments
- Testing, validation and demonstration of neurointerventional devices and techniques
Additional Product Notes- Designed to simulate intracranial access via the carotid artery and relevant branches
- Transparent silicone on acrylic base enables clear observation of 3D vascular anatomy and lesion morphology
- Suitable for procedure observation, analysis and technical training in clinical and R&D settings
