Konix Pre-filled Saline Flush Syringes is used for the irrigation (flushing) of vascular access devices in peripheral veins, outside the central circulatory system, in order to maintain vessel patency and reduce the risk of contamination. The sterile solution contained in the syringe provides mechanical cleaning of vascular access devices. The IV flush solution containing 0.9% sodium chloride offers a sterile, non-pyrogenic, and isotonic solution for catheter flushing. The single-use, prefilled syringes are prepared with 0.9% sodium chloride (NaCl) solution.
