The UltraTec PD1 combi is a small, lightweight, high sensitivity pocket Doppler with interchangeable probes. The 2MHz or 3Mhz fetal probe is ideal for use by General Practitioner or Midwife for routine antenatal fetal detection. Fetal signals are easily located using the lightweight narrow beam probe while internal signal processing minimises noise artefacts. Connecting one of the interchangeable 5 and 8 MHz vascular probes provides an ideal tool for use by a General Practitioner for routine vascular investigation, in ER for vessel location or for monitoring pulses and systolic blood pressure and also by the specialist in diabetes or dermatology. Audio signals are available to the user via the built-in loudspeaker or optional headset with output level controlled by rotary volume control. The unit is powered by a standard 9V battery which provides over 9 hours of use. The PD1combi meets all current EEC standards for medical equipment. Also available as a PD1+ combi with fetal heart rate display.
