Product overview
The BJP 20 is a benchtop static concentrator designed for concentrating laboratory samples without the need for a centrifuge. It accepts up to 20 ml per sample with the optional expansion reservoir (10 ml without reservoir) and features a dead-stop design for maximum concentrate recovery and easy sample withdrawal.

• Concentration of biological samples and dilute protein solutions.
• Concentration and partial purification of antibodies and immunoglobulins.

Performance
Time to concentrate (20°C) and solute recovery for typical proteins using 7,500 MWCO PES membrane:

• BSA 1.0 mg/ml (66,000 Da): 10 ml (10×) — 55 min, recovery 92%; 10 ml (50×) — 105 min, recovery 93%; 20 ml (10×) — 115 min, recovery 92%; 20 ml (50×) — 218 min, recovery 93%.
• IgG 0.25 mg/ml (160,000 Da): 10 ml (10×) — 70 min, recovery 78%; 10 ml (50×) — 140 min, recovery 74%; 20 ml (10×) — 160 min, recovery 78%; 20 ml (50×) — 290 min, recovery 74%.
