Polypropylene surgical mesh PP MESH standard PP MESH standard is made of polypropylene monofilament. The mesh is characterized by higher porosity and is specially suitable for laparoscopic and open procedures. Universal mesh for abdominal wall reconstruction. PP MESH Standard is produced in sizes 6×11 cm, 10×15 cm, 15×15 cm, 20×15 cm, 30×15 cm, 30×30 cm and is supplied in unit packaging. Indications The PP MESH structure is optimally designed for permanent support, augmentation or complete replacement of aponeurotic structures of the abdominal wall (e.g. in large ventral hernias) and safely withstands the pressures to which the abdominal wall is subjected. It can be used to treat both inguinal and ventral hernias. Notice PP MESH must not be placed intraperitoneally.
