Description

PP MESH large pore is made of polypropylene monofilament. The mesh is specially suitable for use in “open” groin surgery with mesh (Lichtenstein surgery) and for laparoscopic approach (TEP and TAPP). Mesh with anti-slip surface for abdominal wall reconstruction. Description of main product features​ Excellent mesh properties​​ Thanks to the anti-slip surface, the mesh adheres perfectly to the tissue and thus simplifies the implantation. Strong mesh with excellent shape memory. Easy handling​ The mesh can be cut to the required size, the mechanical properties of the mesh remain unchanged. High biocompatibility Highly biocompatible thanks to the macroporous design, ensuring faster incorporation of the mesh and return of the patient to normal life. Low recurrence Suitable for placement in the preperitoneal space, reducing the risk of recurrence Parameters Pore size 2,6 x 1,5 mm, weight 67 g/m2. PP MESH large pore is available in sizes 10×15 cm, 15×15 cm, 20×15 cm, 30×15 cm, 30×30 cm and is supplied in unit packaging. Indications The PP MESH structure is optimally designed for permanent support, augmentation or complete replacement of aponeurotic structures of the abdominal wall (e.g. in large ventral hernias) and safely withstands the pressures to which the abdominal wall is subjected. It can be used to treat both inguinal and ventral hernias. Notice PP MESH must not be placed intraperitoneally.
