Product descriptionDisposable POP (plaster of Paris) bandage and matching undercast padding supplied as individual cellophane-wrapped rolls. Designed for clinical immobilisation, wound protection and cast padding in hospital and orthopaedic settings. Key curing and handling parameters are controllable to user requirements.
Specifications- Material: plaster-impregnated cotton (POP) and cotton undercast padding; quick-dry or controllable curing formulations available.
- Sizes: widths 5 cm, 7.5 cm, 10 cm, 12.5 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm; roll length 2.7 m.
- Packing: individually cellophane-wrapped rolls; carton quantities vary by size (see tables below).
- Delivery: typical lead time within 40 days after receipt of a 30% deposit.
Features- Controllable curing time: approx. 2–5 min (super fast), 5–8 min (fast), 4–8 min (standard); production can be adjusted to specified curing profiles.
- Very short immersion activation: 2–3 seconds.
- Initial set: ~3–5 minutes at 20 °C immersion water temperature.
- Ready for careful weight-bearing after ~30 minutes (dependent on layers and application).
- High final strength with low plaster loss; efficient use with reduced material consumption in non-load-bearing applications (6 layers recommended for high hardness).
- Operating temperature range: -40 °C to +40 °C; non-toxic, non-irritant, hypoallergenic.
