Description

Overview
With the PhysioWalk® product family, zebris offers modern solutions for gait training in clinics, practices, care centres and even at home. Whether as a compact treadmill for seniors for mobile use or with a generous walking surface for sophisticated gait analysis or gait therapy, all models combine ergonomic design, reliable safety functions and ease of use. With three model variants - PhysioWalk® 1.0, 1.2 and 1.8 - the system can be ideally adapted to spatial conditions, patient groups and therapeutic objectives.

What all PhysioWalk® models have in common
  • Speed safety mode for controlled starting and stopping
  • Double light barrier for automatic safety stop
  • Low step-up height (only 8 cm, with swing crossbars 11 cm) for low-barrier access
  • Touch panel for easy control
  • Height-adjustable grab rails for stable guidance
  • Status display for clear visualisation of the device status

PhysioWalk® 1.0 – Compact, safe and intuitive
The PhysioWalk® 1.0 is the ideal entry-level model for facilities with limited space. Its compact design, low entry height and intuitive user interface make it ideal for basic gait training – especially in geriatric care or for people with mild mobility impairments. Despite its small footprint, the PhysioWalk® 1.0 offers key safety features such as an integrated double light barrier and automatic safety mode.

Areas of application
  • Inpatient and outpatient care facilities
  • Geriatric rehabilitation and activation
  • Supervised everyday training in day care or at home

Technical data
  • Walking surface: 100 × 50 cm
  • Speed range: 0.1–4 km/h in 0.1 km/h increments
  • Step height: 8 cm (with swing crossbars: 11 cm)
  • Safety features: Double light barrier & speed safety mode
  • Extension: Optional with swing crossbar

PhysioWalk® 1.2 – Flexible, versatile and upgradeable
The PhysioWalk® 1.2 offers maximum flexibility for facilities that value individual customisation and advanced training options. It is larger than the basic model but compact enough for practices, rehabilitation centres or day clinics. The system supports a wide range of optional accessories from swing bars to pressure distribution sensors, making it suitable for targeted mobility promotion in various patient groups.

Areas of application
  • Physiotherapy practices
  • Outpatient rehabilitation facilities and day clinics
  • Interdisciplinary therapy centres

Technical data
  • Walking surface: 120 × 50 cm
  • Speed range: 0.1–6 km/h in 0.1 km/h increments

PhysioWalk® 1.8 – Multifunctional use
The PhysioWalk® 1.8 is developed for therapeutic and diagnostic applications with high demands on precision, safety and variability. With its extra-long walking surface, combination of safety and assistance systems, and the option of integrating pressure measurement sensors and 3D visualisation, it is designed for neurological rehabilitation centres, complex geriatric therapy and research-oriented facilities.

Areas of application
  • Neurological rehabilitation centres
  • Gait analysis laboratories and university outpatient clinics
  • Clinics focusing on multimorbidity and complex gait disorders

Brief profile / Technical data
  • Walking surface: 180 × 50 cm
  • Speed range: 0.1–5 km/h in 0.1 km/h increments

Optional accessories - can be combined depending on the model
The PhysioWalk® models 1.2 and 1.8 can be customised with additional equipment for visual feedback and detailed gait analysis. The PhysioWalk® 1.0 can be customised to support balance training using swinging traverses.

Available accessory options (depending on model)
  • Swinging crossbars to promote postural reactions and prevent falls (for all models)
  • Handrail with integrated folding seat for short-term relief during longer training sessions or for patients with reduced standing ability (1.2)
  • Swivelling and height-adjustable forearm supports for additional stability during training (for 1.0 and 1.2)
  • Pressure distribution sensors for precise analysis of stance and gait parameters incl. symmetry display (for 1.2 and 1.8)
  • Stand unit with touchscreen and camera for video observation, training documentation and evaluation (for 1.2 and 1.8)
  • Projection unit with step specifications directly on the walking surface for visual guidance, motivation and gait correction in real time (only for 1.8)
