More that meets the eye - photorealistic reproduction of virtual teeth modeling
Until now, showing a virtual tooth model on a screen required the dental technician to have a vivid imagination, because the screen model was not an exact reproduction of the work to be milled. The model was displayed in detail on all sides, but in such vivid colors that only a rough idea of the final aesthetics after milling could be given. Zirkonzahn’s new "CAD/CAM Software Module Reality Mode" changes all this and reproduces teeth, attachments, telescopic crowns and similar items in the real tooth colors, starting from with the virtual construction. The result is a detailed, realistic reproduction of dental restorations made of zirconia, ceramic or resin, so that planning your work is more reliable. Apart from greater reliability for the dental technician, the photorealistic images can be used to give a realistic picture of the future restoration to dentist and patient as well. The module is compatible with Zirkonzahn’s computerized milling machines.
